Each summer Scituate Little League (SLL) can send a team (or two teams) to play in a week-long baseball tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park. The level of competition is the highest quality of any tournament our teams play against in a given year. SLL has a long-standing tradition of sending a team to this unique program as the culmination of a child's 12-year-old Little League season. Players and three coaches stay together at the park and build friendships with other teams from around the country.

Ages: Primarily Scituate Little League Players who have completed their 12U year
Teams: Around 100 teams per week from all over the U.S. and sometimes internationally. Club, Regional All-star, and town all-star teams. Teach team is guaranteed 6 games.
Team Size: A minimum of 11 players are needed to form a team. Teams often bring more than the minimum.
Rules: 50/70 Field size and AAU Bats are allowed.
Coaching Staff: Three coaches per team will stay with the team in the bunkhouse.
Dates: SLL usually selects 2nd week of August as our 1st choice and 3rd week of August as our 2nd choice.
Cost Per Player: $1,800-$2,200 per player depending on team size, pins, and extra purchases.
Fundraising: Conducted to help lower the cost of attending.
Family accommodations and meals are an additional expense.
The deadline to send our deposit for to reserve a team(s) for 2027 is early September 2026
SLL Board members and Coaches who work with the players who register to attend a Cooperstown Tournament will decide how many teams participate and the players who participate.

Scituate Little League is committed to selecting players for Cooperstown tournament participation who demonstrate preparedness for the heightened level of competition and responsibility associated with representing the Scituate Little League.
To support this objective, the following expectations apply:
- Selection prioritizes individuals who show commitment to preparation and the ability to compete at an elevated level of play.
- Representation at Cooperstown is considered a privilege; chosen players must uphold the reputation and values of Scituate Little League, which include character, courage, and loyalty.
- Players shall demonstrate, during practices and games, a clear understanding of applicable playing rules and tournament standards.
- Players are expected to apply learned rules consistently in competitive situations, reflecting discipline and game awareness.
- Players must exhibit maturity, focus, and responsiveness to coaching instruction.
- Demonstrated respect for umpires, opponents, teammates, and the integrity of the game is required.
- Selected players must contribute positively to team cohesion through shared understanding of standards and expectations.
- These expectaions align with the SLL's commitment to player development, accountability, sportsmanship, and competitive readiness.
